Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! You have taken the first step in applying to Lutheran High School of Jacksonville - and becoming a part of history!
Lutheran High School of Jacksonville will open its doors to 100 students this year, with the addition of 11th and 12th grade as our Freshmen and Sophomores move up. God gave each student a unique set of talents, skills, and abilities, with a unique purpose in life. A quality Christian education helps children discover those gifts and talents, appreciate them, and develop them to their fullest potential.
Our mission statement is: "Educating the minds and preparing the hearts of Gods youth for the future." We desire to help students know Christ and to nurture their God-given talents. God's Word provides power for salvation and power for Christian living.
Lutheran High School of Jacksonville will help students develop the characteristics necessary for success as a citizen and as a Christian in adult life.
We will provide a wide range of educational and extracurricular opportunities. Our administration, faculty, and staff are committed to ensuring that each student is afforded every opportunity to maximize their intellectual gifts in the classroom through a rigorous curriculum. In addition, we will offer activities that will allow each student to explore his/her gifts in areas such as the fine arts and athletics. Lutheran High School of Jacksonville will provide a faculty that is highly professional, experienced and dedicated to the well being of our students.
